Who is behind cmsspot

cmsspot is built and run by one person, not a company with a sales team. This page says who, why it exists, and what that means for you.

Why cmsspot exists

I build websites for small and medium-sized businesses, and for years every one of them ended up in WordPress for a single reason: the owner had to be able to change a sentence without calling me. A hand-built site is faster, safer and easier for Google and AI assistants to read, but the owner could not touch it.

cmsspot is the tool I was missing. It connects to a plain HTML or PHP site over SFTP, finds the headings, text and images on its own, and lets the owner edit them in a browser. Nothing is installed on the site, and the files stay exactly as the developer wrote them. I built it for my own clients first and then opened it up, because the problem is the same at every agency.

Who I am

My name is Lasse Enggaard. I am an SEO specialist and web developer in southern Denmark and co-owner of Webro, a web agency with offices in Odense and Aabenraa, where I run the Aabenraa office. I have worked with search engine optimisation since 2015 and with AI visibility since 2022. Before that I trained and worked as an IT supporter, which is where the habit of keeping things simple and in plain files comes from.

Alongside client work I build the tools I need myself. Besides cmsspot that includes LLM-klar, an MCP server with writing guidelines for Danish web content, and two WordPress plugins published on WordPress.org: Pillark for internal linking and Webro Security for security headers.
